Unheard Voices is a documentary chronicling the journey of mothers with incarcerated children. Screening followed by Q&A with filmmakers Tosha Smith-Mills and Christopher Horne.

When 17-year-old Blake is sentenced to 40 years in a Texas prison for a robbery committed with a toy gun, his mother, Tosha is shattered. After her unsuccessful suicide attempt, Tosha is forced to confront her grief and rage. She begins to write — and her memoir becomes an unexpected Amazon bestseller. But the real journey begins when she and her younger son, Chris, hit the road to meet other mothers whose children have been swallowed by the justice system.
